Bhopal: Today i.e. on February 22, the death anniversary of the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi, Mrs. Kasturba Gandhi, is being celebrated. On this occasion, Home and Jail Minister Narottam Mishra tweeted and saluted him.


He has bowed to Kasturba Gandhi by tweeting from his Twitter account. Greeting, he wrote in his tweet that, in the name of "'Ba' in India, I pay my respectful greetings and humble tribute to the death anniversary of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Mrs. Kasturba Gandhi. Where his significant contribution to India's freedom movement will always be remembered.''

Talking about Kasturba Gandhi, she was a strong-tempered woman. With this, she called discipline is important in life. She loved discipline. Mahatma Gandhi never spoke to her aloud. When Mahatma Gandhi went to jail in the year 1922 while fighting for freedom, Kasturba Gandhi started a movement to include women and increase their participation in the freedom struggle. She was also successful in this movement. Kasturba Gandhi 'Ba' died of a heart attack on 22 February 1944.
