New Delhi [India], Jan 26 (NT): On the occasion of the 69th RepublicDay In dia as well as Indian in neighboring countries celebrate this patriotic day.

R-day being celebrated in Nepal. Indian Ambassador Manjeev Singh Puri hoisted National flag at IndiaInNepal,  Kathmandu.

Indian Ambassador hands over cheque and blankets to widows and dependents of Ex-Servicemen during 69th RepublicDay celebrations at Indian Embassy Kathmandu.

While celebrations held in Colombo. Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Taranjit Singh Sandhu unfurled the National flag.

In India PM Narendra Modi along with the three Service Chiefs pay tribute and respects at Amar Jawan Jyoti on the occasion of 69th republic day.

Mean while Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah on Friday hoisted tricolor at party headquarter in Delhi on the occasion of 69th Republic Day.

Meanwhile, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley took to his Twitter handle and said, "I wish nation on the 69th anniversary of Republic Day."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also greeted the nation on his Twitter handle.

India is today celebrating the 69th Republic Day, the main function is being organized at Rajpath in the national capital where President Ram Nath Kovind will take the salute of the parade.

Under the custom to host a leader of a foreign nation as the chief guest at the parade, this year for the first time leaders of 10 ASEAN countries are the Chief Guests.

Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar also extended his wishes and greetings to the people of Goa.(NT)
