Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movie Sooryavanshi is making quite a buzz since its annoument.  Rohit Shetty directorial was earlier supposed to hit the screens in December this year but the makers announced the new release date, which is Eid 2020.

Recently, Shetty had headed to Goa to kickstart the first schedule of the shooting along with his crew. He had taken to Instagram and shared the picture along with his team on Instagram and captioned it, "Mission SOORYAVANSHI En route Goa".

In this film Akshay Kumar will reunite with Katrina Kaif after 9 long years. The duo have worked together in hits like Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, Namastey London, Tees Maar Khan, De Dana Dan, Blue, Singh Is King and Welcome and have garnered praises for their crackling chemistry. According to a DNA report, Kat has already shot for the poster along with Akshay. It alos suggests that the duo will start shooting for the exciting, fast-paced cop drama that has a ‘contraband’ angle to it later this summer.

Film will be produced under the banners of Dharma Productions along with Cape of Good Films and Rohit Shetty Picturez. Meanwhile, Akshay will be next seen in Mission Mangal, which is scheduled to release on August 15 during the Independence Day weekend.
