Slaman and Katrina Kaif starrer Bharat is making quite a buzz since the realse of its trailer. Fans lauds both Salman and Katrina in the film. For the unvesed,  Priyanka Chopra was the first choice for Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat is a known fact, and later, due to other commitments and, PeeCee had to walk out of the film at the eleventh hour. Soon after, the makers of Bharat roped in Katrina Kaif oppositeSalman Khan . Now,  Katrina Kaif said that although she wasn’t the first choice for Bharat but she is happy to have bagged the film.

Talking about replacing Priyanka Chopra, Katrina informed Mirror, “Although I wasn't Ali's first choice and it was Priyanka (Chopra), I'm happy it has come to me. When I read the character of Kumud, I felt there's so much I can do in it and I wanted to immerse myself completely into it. I just hope that I keep getting to play such exciting characters which have enough meat in them.”

Everyone knows that Katrina Kaif and producer Atul Agnihotri share a great rapport and after PeeCee’s exit, Atul really wanted Katrina to do the film. “
