The first special episode of KBC 12 was telecasted yesterday on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. Rajiv Khandelwal and Krishnavatar from the organization engaged in helping migrant workers for 15 years participated in this show. They talked about the problems of migrant workers. He explained how his organization is helping workers.

When Rajiv Khandelwal told the story, then Amitabh Bachchan became very emotional and he said that this is really sad, he also said that he will not be able to sleep at night now. Krishnavatar said that about 7-8 lakh workers from Rajasthan go to different parts of the country. Workers from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, Haryana go to Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra, many workers from Ganjam and Gatpatni of Orissa go to Gujarat. While workers from West Bengal go to Kerala, there are 4 million migrant workers.

Khandelwal said "Around 4 crore people do construction work. Work in 3 crore factories. One and a half million people work in textiles. Domestic workers are not less than 2 crores. 50-60 people work for the brick building. He also raised the issue of low salaries paid to migrant workers. He said that migrant workers are forced to do dangerous work.

Stone-cutting work is done in Pindwada. There is a lot of dust from the cutting work and this dust accumulates in the lungs of the workers. Due to which every laborer has a fatal disease called silicosis, which has no treatment and they die after 10 years.
