Talking about his role in the movie earlier, John had said in an interview, 'I knew I would play two roles, one that is inspired by the first part of the film and the other is that of a police officer. The story also goes into flashback. Initially, I was not ready to play the role of a father, but I finally did. However, I did not play a police officer for the first time.'
