KCR betraying Muslim minorities by wearing sherwani: Congress leader Shravan Dasoju

Hyderabad: Muslims played a vital role in the separate Telangana movement, yet they are badly neglected under the TRS regime, Congress spokesperson and senior Telangana Congress leader Dr. Shravan Dasoju said for not giving place to Muslim minorities in the newly formed BC Commission. For this, he attacked the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao fiercely.

Having said that, the minorities, who firmly believed that they would get their due respect in the TRS regime, but KCR is betraying the Muslim minorities by wearing sherwani and feeding biryani and apricots. Muslims were again ignored and betrayed, he appealed to the Muslim minorities to think seriously about KCR's dubious role in how he changed his commitment towards the upliftment of minorities.

Shravan questioned the commitment of the Chief Minister for the upliftment of minorities. He reminded that the previous Congress government had provided all kind of support and assistance to the minorities. He said that it is the Congress government which provided reservation to minorities by including them in BC-E category. KCR has promised to provide 12% reservation to minorities within four months after assuming office. He also promised to give judicial status to the Waqf Board. Unfortunately, he did not fulfill any of his promises during his seven-year rule,' he alleged.
