Kedar Jadhav fit for World Cup, will board the flight for England with the team

Indian Batsman Kedar Jadhav who was doubtful for the World Cup after picking up a shoulder injury,  has been declared fit and is all set to travel to England and Wales with the rest of the Indian squad for the upcoming 2019 World Cup. However, Jadhav has been deemed fit and will board the flight for England with the rest of the team on May 22.

 According to the report of Times of India report, Jadhav was training and recovering under Team India physio Patrick Farhart, has been cleared after the physio submitted his report to the BCCI.

Farhart had to return from Australia earlier than scheduled after Jadhav's injury. He worked on his fitness closely after the batsman was ruled out of the knockout stages of the IPL. He cleared him after Jadhav passed a fitness test in Mumbai on Thursday. Jadhav is expected to play a key role for India at the World Cup as he provides stability to the middle-order.

Blue Army will leave for England next week with their eyes set on the big prize. India will open their campaign against South Africa on June 4 at Rose Bowl in Southampton before taking on Australia on June 09.
