According to the information received, on Friday, February 21, 2020, the court of Munsif Magistrate Ukhimath had found Mathur guilty in the blackmailing case on Heli ticket in Kedarnath Yatra in the year 2018. It is learned that the court sentenced him to 14 days judicial custody in jail.

Earlier in the year 2018, the advance bail petition of the owner of the company was rejected by the court of the District and Sessions Judge. District Judge Harish Goyal's court had said in its order that passengers have been cheated under a conspiracy by denying the tickets as valid and illegal in the name of air service, which is not unforgivable.
