Dehradun: The ongoing Kedarnath Yatra in Uttarakhand has been stopped by the administration as a precautionary measure. Following the incident during the Amarnath Yatra, the administration has taken precautionary measures and stopped it with immediate effect. The administration has taken this decision due to torrential rains so that no incident takes place and the devotees are safe.

Informing about the decision, the Rudraprayag district administration said, "Kedarnath Yatra has been banned in view of heavy rains from Sonprayag in view of the safety of pilgrims amid apprehension of any untoward incident. Pilgrims have been urged to stay where they are at present due to rains and remain in constant touch with the Uttarakhand Police.'' At the behest of someone else, use the other route thoughtfully and use the path told by the police.

Let us know that the Shivraj government has also issued helpline numbers for the devotees of Madhya Pradesh who are stranded due to the cloudburst in the Amarnath Yatra. The cities of Madhya Pradesh can be contacted on dial 181 for information and assistance. Callers from outside Madhya Pradesh can call 07552555582.
