The teaser of Kedarnath has gathered appreciations and trended on social media due to the gripping storyline and charming chemistry of Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput. The song namo namo of Kedarnath already hit the internet and the makers of the film launched the trailer of the film today means Monday which is dedicated to lord Shiva in Mumbai. The director of the film, Abhishek Kapoor took blessings from the centuries-old Babulnath temple that is situated on a small hillock near Girgaum before attending the trailer launch event.

Before this, Abhishek Kapoor took to Twitter to share a fresh poster of the film wherein Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput look much in love captioneing it as a film that is about the journey of love even beyond worship. This is Sara Ali Khan’s debut film and the trailer is as intriguing as the posters and song namo namo was. In the movie, Sara features as a tourist-pilgrim Mukku, who embarks on the 14-km journey from Gauri Kund to Kedarnath at a time when the Kedarnath floods smashed Uttarakhand in 2013 while Sushant, plays a Muslim pithu named Mansoor and Sara’s companion on the pilgrimage.  During the holy tour the two fall in love.
