Actress Keerthy Suresh has announced a new release date for her film Good Luck Sakhi, which has been delayed twice owing of the COVID-19 epidemic. The film, which also stars Aadhi Pinisetty and Jagapathi Babu, was earlier slated to be released in June 2021 and then again in November 2021. Nagesh Kukunoor makes his directorial debut in Telugu cinema with this film.
Keerthy Suresh took to her Instagram on Friday and announced the new release date of her movie Good Luck Sakhi. The sports drama will be released theatrically on January 28, 2022. Sharing a new poster of the film, Keerthy wrote, "Can't wait for you all to watch #GoodLuckSakhi in the theatres near you. Let us tell you that Good luck Sakhi is a sports romantic comedy that tells the storey of Sakhi (Keerthy), a woman who seems to bring ill luck to everyone she meets. Following her fiancé's untimely death only days before their wedding, Sakhi begins training as a sharpshooter in order to compete at the national level. Best wishes Sakhi was originally supposed to be released in theatres on June 3, 2021, with dubbed Tamil and Malayalam versions.
