Lucknow: Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader,  Arvind Kejriwal reached Lucknow airport morning on Monday and immediately left for Sultanpur. Later in the evening, Kejriwal will reach Ayodhya to attend Saryu Aarti.

The Chief Minister will appear before a court in Sultanpur in connection with the violation of election code during a public rally in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. The case is against Kejriwal and Kumar Viswas along with others. On Tuesday he will pray at Hanumangarhi and Ramlalla temples and then address a press conference in Ayodhya.

Tomorrow ( Tuesday) he will visit Hanuman Garhi Temple and the birthplace of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. AAm AAdmi Party has announced that it will contest the Assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh due to be held next year. Kejriwal-led AAP has announced that it would contest all 403 Assembly seats in the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls,  Arvind Kejriwal had contested against Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Varanasi.

Last month, Arvind Kejriwal visited Haldwani ahead of the Uttarakhand polls where he promised one job per house if voted to power. He also promised Rs 5000 per month for the unemployed, 1 lakh govt jobs in 6 months, a job portal, 80 percent local reservation and a separate ministry to manage Jobs.
