New Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal has come out to seek the support of the opposition against the ordinance brought by the central government to take over the administration of the national capital Delhi. He has met opposition leaders like Uddhav Thackeray, Sharad Pawar. Apart from this, he is also going to meet Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi. Meanwhile, he has received a lot of strength from Sharad Pawar, who has talked about persuading some more opposition parties to support Arvind Kejriwal.

The same ordinance will be presented in the Parliament for permission and the opposition feels that even if the BJP gets it passed in the Lok Sabha with its majority, it can be stopped in the Rajya Sabha. Sharad Pawar has given Arvind Kejriwal the same confidence that he will inspire the opposition parties in the Rajya Sabha to unite against this bill. Sharad Pawar has indicated to Arvind Kejriwal that he may talk to the Congress leadership and Odisha's ruling party BJD. Sharad Pawar also indicated this in the discussion with the media. He said, 'To some extent I take the responsibility of talking to non-BJP parties. We will talk in some more states. Whether it is Congress or Biju Janata Dal, will talk to everyone.'

The veteran of NCP said that I have been an MP for years and I have had personal relations with many leaders. I will talk to all these people for support on this issue. It is important to talk to the Congress on behalf of Sharad Pawar. The reason for this is that the Congress seems to be divided in this matter. Delhi's Congress unit believes that the party should not support Kejriwal in this matter. At the same time, the central leadership is trying to take the opposition together in the name of unity. Arvind Kejriwal himself has said that he will meet Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi.
