New Delhi: National Capital Delhi's Kejriwal government has refused to implement the Centre's Ayushman Bharat Scheme, terming the state's health scheme as better. In fact, Modi government in 2.0, Health Minister Harshvardhan wrote a letter on June 3 asking you government of Delhi to implement the scheme of the central government.

On this, Delhi cm and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) president Arvind Kejriwal has termed the Delhi government's plan to be 10 times bigger and wider than Ayushman Bharat while clearing the gaps in the centre and state Health plan. In a reply to the health Minister Harsh Vardhan, he has said that the scheme of the Delhi government has all the points of the Ayushman Bharat Scheme and there are a lot of facilities for Delhiites.

Delhi cm Arvind Kejriwal, while terming his health scheme better, argued that up and Haryana are state-engaged states and that the Centre's Ayushman Bharat Scheme is in place yet lakhs of patients from both the states come to get treatment in Delhi government hospitals while Delhi Hardly any citizen would have to undergo treatment in these regions. He wrote in the letter that this proves that Delhi's health plan is progressing well.
