New Delhi: The Arvind Kejriwal government of Delhi has announced to increase the monthly honorarium and allowances of all Anganwadi workers and helpers in the capital. Let us inform that it has been more than 25 days since the performance of Anganwadi workers near the CM residence. In such a situation, the Delhi Government has increased the salary honorarium of Anganwadi workers from Rs 9678 to Rs 12720 and that of helpers from Rs 4839 to Rs 6810.

Regarding this, Cabinet Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam, while talking to the media, has told that Delhi is the only state to pay the highest honorarium to Anganwadi workers and helpers. He said that the Kejriwal government has taken this decision due to rising inflation. It is noteworthy that till now the honorarium of Anganwadi workers in Delhi was Rs 9,678 and that of helper was Rs 4,839.

Along with this, Cabinet Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam has urged the workers and assistants to return to their work. In 2017, the Kejriwal government of Delhi increased the honorarium of Anganwadi workers from Rs 5,000 to Rs 9,678 and that of Anganwadi helpers from Rs 2,500 to Rs 4,839.
