Before the Lok Sabha elections next year, Modi Government has given a big gift to the farmers. On Wednesday, the government has approved the new support price of Kharif crops, with the promise of 50 per cent more than the cost. The minimum support price of paddy has been increased by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 1,750 per quintal, while the A grade paddy has been increased by Rs 160.

After this announcement by the government, Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari on MSP said that after the increase of minimum support price of 14 crops, Holi, Diwali, Id and Baisakhi came together for the country's farmers today. The country's farmers are expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Modi. Manoj Tiwari said that the Kejriwal government should also restore the agriculture status of Delhi. Manoj Tiwari said that through this Namo App, this pain and need of the farmers had reached the Prime Minister's Office. Tiwari also praised PM Modi for this decision.

Delhi BJP President said that the PM promised to double the income of the farmers of the country in 2014, today it has been fulfilled. Manoj Tiwari said that it is sad that when the country's farmers are getting benefits from the minimum support price increase to crop insurance by the Indian government today, but thousands of farmers from Delhi are deprived of it.

He demanded that the Arvind Kejriwal government should restore the status of Delhi's agricultural state so that the farmers of Delhi could get benefit from the farmers' friendly schemes of the central government. He said, 'I am from a farmer's family. Last week, I visited my village. My mother and brother do farm work. The condition of the farmers there is very bad.
