New Delhi: The Delhi government is constructing a temporary Ram temple at Tyagaraj Stadium in the capital on Diwali this year. The Ram Temple will be built from Thermocol and will have a height of about 50 feet. With a saffron roof, the temple will have a width of about 110 feet. This structure will be similar to the Ram Temple built in Ayodhya. Puja will be performed in the same structure on Diwali and then it will be demolished after the event.

The 'Diwali of Delhi' programme will have pujas, light shows and dances. It will include CM Kejriwal, deputy CM Sisodia and Delhi government ministers. According to officials, the event will also be attended by MLAs and their families. However, there will be no entry of the general public. The Delhi Government has spent a lot of money on this programme. There will be a programme of light and sound. In addition, scenes of Ramayana will be created with the help of LED lights. There will also be a programme of bhajans and dances. However, the common people will not be allowed inside the stadium. Corona has been cited as the reason for this. The event will be telecasted live.

The programme is being prepared from a week. About 60 people were working in the Tyagaraj Stadium. The programme is being conducted by the Tourism Department of the Government of Delhi. The department has entrusted the work to a private agency. AAP leader Atishi, who arrived at the venue on Tuesday, said, "Don't know why it is being linked to the Ayodhya temple." This temple is being built only for the worship of Lord Ram. However, a question is being raised about the Kejriwal government's programme, that if they were to worship on Diwali, there must be a Ram temple in Delhi, why build a temple with government money, worship and What is the need to demolish the structure of the shrine?
