New Delhi: The Delhi government is constructing a temporary Ram temple at Tyagaraj Stadium in the capital on Diwali this year. The Ram Temple will be built from Thermocol and will have a height of about 50 feet. With a saffron roof, the temple will have a width of about 110 feet. This structure will be similar to the Ram Temple built in Ayodhya. Puja will be performed in the same structure on Diwali and then it will be demolished after the event.

The 'Diwali of Delhi' programme will have pujas, light shows and dances. It will include CM Kejriwal, deputy CM Sisodia and Delhi government ministers. According to officials, the event will also be attended by MLAs and their families. However, there will be no entry of the general public.
