New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday announced that he is going to do a Vipassana session. It has been considered as the best method of self-observation and self-purification. Let us tell you that thousands of years ago Lord Buddha attained Buddhahood through this meditation method.

Vipassana is an ancient Indian meditation system in which participants stay away from any communication for a certain period of time, not even speaking to anyone through dialogue or signs. By staying in the Vipassana center, they take advantage of mental practice. It has been considered as the most excellent method of self-observation and self-purification. However, it is not yet clear where Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal will practice Vipassana.

Kejriwal, a regular practitioner of Vipassana, has practiced this method in sessions held in Dharamkot, Nagpur, and Bengaluru in the past. In 2016, he went to Nagpur to practice Vipassana for 10 days. The following year, he visited Igatpuri in Maharashtra and Dharamkot in Himachal Pradesh.
