NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today, August 31, annnounced "country's first virtual school", claiming it as a "revolutionary steps, commences in the national capital.

Kejriwal  described it as a "revolutionary act, beginning today in the national capital." He added that India cannot take over as "unless every student in the nation obtains an excellent education, the nation will not be the number one nation in the world.

The Bharat Janata Party has accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of corruption in the education sector, and the statement was made through a virtual press conference. The BJP has intensified its attacks against the party, citing irregularities in funding distribution, despite the fact that the party has previously expressed delight in what it has accomplished for the sector in Delhi.

In the virtual meeting, Chief Minister Kejriwal also listed the successes of the city. "Delhi has made numerous revolutionary moves in the realm of education." On the one hand, improvements were made to the educational environment at the schools as well as the infrastructure, and new courses in entrepreneurship were added to the curriculum."

Aside from that, he said "We are also starting a brand-new special school for kids who have been seen begging at stoplights. Skill universities are one of several unique efforts."

"To make sure students receive an education, we are opening this online school. The Covid-19 pandemic forced the need for virtual classes, which served as the inspiration for this institution "says he. Online lectures will be recorded and posted with the classes, Kejriwal said. "There are many children who cannot go to school since there are issues like the school being far away or other obstacles. Many parents do not get their daughters educated since they don't want to send them out." he said.
