Kerala CM Pinarayi returns to State capital after treatment in US

THIRUVANANTHAPURAMM: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan returned to the state capital early Tuesday after finishing his second phase of treatment at the Mayo Clinic in the United States. At 3.30 a.m., the Chie minister arrived at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport from Dubai. The Chief Minister was accompanied by his wife, Kamala, and a personal aide.

The Chief Minister faces a slew of challenges, including salary disbursement for striking Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) employees. He will probably examine the state's financial and power problems as well. The CM's attention will  now be drawn to the Thrikkakara Assembly election campaign in the run-up to the polls on May 31.
On May 12, he will also open the election convention of the Left Democratic Front (LDF) in Ernakulam. 

On Wednesday, he will preside over a cabinet meeting in person. Fuel and cooking gas costs are reportedly spiralling, and anti-inflationary measures are on the table. 

The chief minister had governed from the United States using a cutting-edge e-file management system. The Chief Minister had also receivd his daily briefings, which included police reports.
