Kochi: The swearing-in ceremony has concluded in Kerala on Thursday. Left Democratic Party (LDF) leader Pinarayi Vijayan has been sworn in as CM before Governor Arif Mohammad Khan at the Central Stadium. In Kerala, the Pinarayi Vijayan-led Left Democratic Party (LDF) has won the second assembly elections.  The swearing-in ceremony will be very simple due to corona epidemic. Only 500 people have been invited to the event at the Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.

In fact, on Wednesday, the Kerala High Court had said that not many people can be invited to the swearing-in ceremony in the wake of the corona epidemic. The Government should assure that if it organizes this function in a limited number, it will be allowed. In view of this, the function was organized in at least a large number. The court said that while swearing-in ceremony has been held in states like Assam, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu in the presence of fewer guests, the number of guests in Kerala should also be restricted in view of corona.

Beedi maker Janardhan will be the most special guest among the 500 people invited to the swearing-in ceremony of the Vijayan government. Recently, Janardhan had provided financial assistance of Rs.2 lakh to the Government of Kerala for vaccination.  After donating, only Rs.850 is left in his account. CM Vijayan had also invited Janardhan to the function.
