Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said on Wednesday that the education department, parents, teaching community, and society worked together to ensure that the state's education process run smoother throughout the COVID-19 epidemic.He made the remark in the wake of a UNICEF-led India Case Study on the effects of COVID-19 on education, which praised the southern state in this regard.

The Chief Minister quoted several portions from the study report, which mentioned the state's accomplishments, in a series of tweets. "Kerala is an outlier: over 70% of parents of both younger and adolescents say that overall learning development is the same or better than it would be in school," he tweeted, citing UNICEF survey.

"Kerala has the most technological access, and it has also been one of the most proactive states in helping students: it is the only state where nearly everyone who used remote learning reports that the government has offered remote learning materials," according to the study. Vijayan thanked everyone who helped the children overcome obstacles and maintain a stress-free learning environment during the pandemic.
