Kerala CMO directs Police to take action against people who posted insulting comments against Hanan

New Delhi (India), July 27(NT): 21-year-old Kochi girl, a college student Hanan who was trolled on social media over her video of selling fish in uniform after college, said today that People are making false allegations that it was for movie promotion. She added that she has no other income sources and her main aim is to continue studies and support the family.

Taking contingency of the matter, Kerala CMO has directed Police to take action against people who posted allegedly insulting comments on social media against Hanan. CMO also directed District Collector to give protection to Hanan, as ANI reported.

 Worth mention here the story of a college-going, fish-selling girl, which is reported by a local Malayalam newspaper earlier this week, has melted hearts and at the same time annoyed an equal section of the people on social media in Kerala. It was Mathrubhumi.com  which is the vastest content network for Malayalis and also one of the two largest-selling newspapers in the state, reported on Wednesday about the thorny circumstances in the life of Hanan. She is a third-year chemistry student belonging to a private college in Idukki.
