Kerala Literature Festival-6th Edition to be held from January 20 to 23

The Kerala Literature Festival (KLF 2022) will take place from January 20 to January 23 on the beaches of Calicut (Kozhikode). The DC Kizhakemuri Foundation is organising the event, which is backed by the Kerala Tourism Board and the Kerala Government. Prof. K. Satchidanandan, a well-known poet, critic, and writer, is the festival director of KLF 2022.

The festival will feature around 400 speakers, including Jeffrey Archer, Ada Yonath, Abhijit Banerjee, Arundhati Roy, Remo Fernandes, Sagarika Ghose, Wendy Doniger, Shashi Tharoor, Manu S. Pillai, Devdutt Pattanaik, Chris Kraus, and Sudhir Kakar.

The four-day festival, which takes place along the Arabian Sea's coastlines, brings artists, actors, entertainers, writers, philosophers, and campaigners closer to people from all walks of life. KLF is Asia's second largest festival of its kind, blending the finest of literary and popular cultures, with a footfall of more than 3 lakhs.

The sessions at KLF aim to map literature through discussions on science and technology, art, cinema, politics, music, the environment, literature, pandemics and their consequences, business & entrepreneurship, health, art & leisure, travel & tourism, gender, economy, culture genomics, history & politics, and other aspects that shape human consciousness.
