After heavy rains, the fields in Kottam in Kerala have been flooded. Due to this, the paddy crop of farmers has been damaged. Paddy fields have been flooded in Kottayam after the rains in this region. Sunil, a farmer, says that all the paddy fields in Kottayam, like Aymanam and Parappara, are filled with rainwater. Due to which farmers suffer a great loss.

Apart from the Corona crisis in India, the havoc of rain continues. The possibility of heavy rains is being expressed in many states due to the highly active monsoon. The flood-like situation has happened in the Assam district. On the other hand, there has also been an incident of lightning in Bihar. Even today, the Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains in many areas of the country. In view of this, the Meteorological Department has issued a 'Yellow Alert' for July 1, 2, 4, and 5 in the districts of Uttar Kannada, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi in Karnataka.

The meteorological department has issued an orange alert in these districts which is going to continue till 3 July. Heavy rains are expected over Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. It is believed that light to moderate rainfall is expected here for 5 days. A four-day yellow alert has already been issued in five districts of Kerala, the districts in which the alert has been issued are Kozhikode, Kannur, Kasaragod, Malappuram, and Wayanad. On the other hand, an Orange alert has been issued for heavy rains in Mumbai.
