Kerala plane accident: Embassy of Dubai issues Helpline number

Dubai: An Air India aircraft fell victim to an accident in Kerala on Friday night. Air India flight from Dubai crashed on the runway of Karipur International Airport in Kozhikode. According to the information received, the plane crashed in two parts while landing. In this incident, reports of the death of 18 people including the pilot of the aircraft have been revealed, while 123 people are said to be injured. The condition of 15 of them is stated to be critical. Presently relief and rescue operations are going on.

After this plane crash, the Consulate General of India, Dubai has issued helpline numbers. You can get information about your relatives by calling on it. The helpline numbers are 056 546 3903, 054 309 0572, and 054 309 0575. According to DGCA, AI Express AXB1344, Boeing 737 flew from Dubai to Calicut. 190 people were present on the plane. However, due to heavy rains, the aircraft slipped after landing on the runway and fell into the valley.

The plane then broke into two pieces. Air India Express issued a statement saying that the aircraft had 10 children, two pilots, and 4 cabin crew, including 174 passengers. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Air India Express has said that as more information about this is received, we will keep updating.
