Marketing people do anything to sell their goods. Recently, a similar case has come up from Kerala. In the Corona era, a Kerala shopkeeper is facing difficulties due to this marketing. The shopkeeper has given an ad, in this ad, it was said that if a customer gets corona infected after twenty-four hours of taking things from his shop, he will be given cashback of up to GST fifty thousand".

Apart from this, even the shopkeeper has kept the offer for limited days. This shop is of electronics goods. He has also spoken about the offer being valid from August 15 to 30. Soon, this ad started becoming viral in the digital world. 

After this, an Advocate wrote a letter to the Chief Minister against it. This ad has been described as illegal. He said that this is against the guidelines of the Government. Pulikkakkandam wrote in the letter, "The owners of the shop have forgotten the social responsibility to increase their business. According to the health norms of Section 269 of the IPC, Section 89 of the Information Technology Act, 2020, Section 89 of the Consumer Protection Act 2019 and the Kerala Municipal Act, he has committed a serious crime. 'Currently, the police have closed the retail outlet. The case is still under investigation.
