'India has showed the passion to serve once again, the most lovely nation with a lot of pleasant people, thank you!' legendary batter Peterson tweeted in response to India's decision. He also mentioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his tweet. Earlier, the Ministry of External Affairs stated that the Indian government is prepared to provide additional medical commodities to African countries, including Made in India vaccines, essential medicines, test kits, PPE kits, and ventilators.

"These supplies can be created by cowax or bilaterally," the government added. All orders from Cowax to provide covishield vaccinations to African countries Malawi, Ethiopia, Zambia, Mozambique, Guinea, and Lesotho have been approved by the government.' 'We have also approved the provision of the vaccine to Botswana,' the statement continued. Any new requirements will be addressed right away.
