The past Friday saw a bunch of films releasing at the same time including the  SRK’s ZERO.  Regardless Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Zero, other films like KGF, Maari 2, Antariksham, Adanga Maru, Padi Padi Leche Manasu and several other films hit the exhibition area giving audiences many choices to pick their movie for the weekend. Winning a lot of hearts at the box office is Yash’s KGF which is on a rant and rave at the box office.

Yes KGF is now the first Kannada film to collect more than $400,000 at the US box office and stands tall amongst the all releases on Friday. Notably KGF is the first Kannada film to receive $400,000 in less than five days from the release date.

In Telugu and Tamil, KGF has been doing very well and  racked a little over Rs 15 crore in Chennai city. KGF is now being considered as the winner amongst the films that released on December 21st, 2018.

It is directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF is the first chapter and the second one is likely to hit the cinema halls by end of 2019. In  KGF Yash plays a ruthless gangster who rules the gold fields in Kolar which was once the mafia of gold mining in early ‘80s.

Its  Hindi version also has been  receiving a great run and lead actor Yash is  garnering huge appreciation for his epic portrayal as the gangster.
