Khammam: Inauguration on Friday Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar inaugurated, distributed documents related to 1004 double bedroom residences and participated in the Griha Pravesh ceremony on the occasion of Dussehra festival on Friday. On this occasion, Minister Ajay in Tekulapalli village of Khammam district said, expressed happiness over the Griha Pravesh ceremony organized in about one thousand houses in a single day.

He said that steps would be taken to install Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras to ensure the safety of the residents residing in the housing complex.Ajay Kumar said that the selection of beneficiaries is completely transparent and it is done by lucky draw. . Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao aimed to make double bedroom houses a symbol of self-respect of the poor people and their wish was fulfilled by the inauguration of the houses. He said that the government had allotted 400 double bedroom houses in the village in the year 2017. He also said that it was only the TRS government that implemented various welfare schemes for the people in the state.

He said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is a role model in the development of the state in all aspects. He informed that 1,004 double bedroom houses have been constructed in 48 blocks. The meeting was attended by MLC B Lakshmi Narayan, Mayor P Neerja, SUDA President Bacchu Vijay Kumar, DCCB President K Nagabhushanaiah and other leaders. District Collector, VP Gautam said that Minister Rama Rao wanted Dussehra to be a major festival in Telangana. But the house warming ceremony of the houses should be done in Tekulapally, the work for the inauguration of the house was completed on a war footing.
