Sobriti Mandal of West Bengal won three gold medals in the Khelo India Youth Games swimming competition on Monday while Maharashtra retained their top position in the table by winning more than 200 medals. Mandal secured first place in the girls' under-21 200m individual medley and 200m backstroke and has won gold in the 4x100m medley relay team.

According to media reports, Maharashtra has 63 gold medals in its table and its total number of medals has increased to 204. Haryana's only gold girl of the day was achieved by the under-17 hockey team, who defeated Jharkhand in the final.
