Patna: Khesari Lal Yadav, who has appeared in several obscene songs, has now been accused of insulting Hinduism and its deities. Khesari Lal Yadav's new Bhojpuri song is titled 'Sawan Mein Ganja Maar Ke', which depicts saffron colour and Lord Shiva being linked to drugs and insults the sentiments of Hindus.
This means, 'You have been gathering 4 times a day and drinking ganja, your husband is sleeping in sawn with a ganja.' Well, this is not new. There has been a different trend of connecting Lord Shiva with ganja and bhang in many Hindi and Bhojpuri as well as some Punjabi songs. In the latest song, Khesari Lal Yadav has shown glimpses of Baba Vaidyanath Dham temple several times and devotees are also shown going for kanwar. Women going for worship are seen dancing to the lyrics of the song. At the same time, Khesari himself is wearing saffron clothes and drinking ganja. He is accompanied by many others in saffron clothes. He has also been repeatedly shown dancing in front of the idol of Lord Shiva. The first case for Khesari to make songs in a controversial manner. They have been accused of spreading obscenity through songs in the past. A case has been registered against singer and actor Khesari Lal Yadav in Mumbai in June this year. They were charged with Section 294 of the IPC (showing pornography or pornography, books or slips to a woman or a young woman).
At the same time, they were also charged with IPC section-295 (speaking a obscene song or word in or around any public place or in the vicinity) and Section 354 (assault or use of criminal force with the intention of disturbing a woman's shame) in the same FIR. Sanatan Seva Foundation chief Sujit Singh in his complaint had accused him of serving obscenity to earn money.
