Tamil Nadu’s famous actor turned politician Khusbhu Sundar has resigned from the party. She has addressed a letter to the congress chief, Sonia Gandhi mentioned, "few elements seated at higher level within the party, people who've no connectivity with ground reality or public recognition are dictating terms".

 By the speculation that Sundar will probably jumps to BJP, AICC dropped her as Spokesperson in Tamil Nadu ahead of forthcoming elections next year. She has joined congress in 2014. Earlier she has supported the centers Education policy that ignited the rumors of joining BJP and the party her action as in disciplinary. She wrote, "I came into the fold of INC at the time when it was at its lowest, being defeated in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. I did not walk into the party for any monetary gains, name or fame,” she wrote. When asked about the BJP join, khusbhu replied with ‘No Comments’. The actress claimed that she was pushed and suppressed in Congress and is the reason behind the quit.

However, BJP party source told that Khushbu will join the party in presence of the party's national president JP Nadda. An IRS officer and a you tuber will likely join the party. Khushbu joined the Congress in 2014, having earlier been a member of the DMK from 2010.She was a highly famed actress; a temple has been built by the fans. She was in DMK from 2010 and joined Congress in 2014 after a rift with the party leadership.
