For your information, the first Kia Seltos has to roll out between the State Government and other distinguished dignitaries of Kia Motors India by Ambassador Shin Bong-kil of the Republic of South Korea and Kiya Motors India Managing Director and CEO Kookhyun Shim. Kookhyun Shim, managing director and CEO of Kia Motors India, said, "The roll-out of the first Seltos is an emotional moment for all of us, especially for the people of the plant as we worked together, to build the future relentlessly by the Andhra Pradesh government of Kia Motors in India. The invaluable contribution made has enabled us to achieve our goal of building Celtos in record time. The first Celtos symbolizes Kia's promise and commitment to the Indian market."
Kia Motors made its debut at Auto Expo 2018 and also introduced 16 top global line-ups in addition to the concept version of the most preferred Seltos at the Auto Expo. In addition, the company started trial production in January this year, followed by the world premiere of Kia Seltos on June 20. Kia Motors has started mass production of Seltos in record time at its world-class manufacturing plant at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh, with around 3 lakh vehicles annually. Kia's plant is spread over 536 acres and is a power to produce hybrid and electric vehicles.
