The company plans to launch four new vehicles, including Kia Seltos, in the next two years. According to the company, low-cost e-vehicles are in a totally different project. Han-Wu Park, President, and CEO of Kia Motors Corporation said, "We are still working on how to build low-cost e-vehicles. I am considering developing electric vehicles in association with Hyundai for the Indian market."

According to the information received, Park further said, "The low-cost electric vehicle will be quite different from the four vehicles to be introduced in the next two years and we are ready to introduce electric cars in India, but it will depend on the infrastructure and policy supported by the government." We will introduce electric vehicles when the Indian market is suitable. At present, the cost of e-vehicles is quite high and e-vehicles without government support can be a big challenge in success."
