MG Hector has recently launched in India. The company has named it India's first internet car. South Korea's giant carmaker introduced the concept model of the SUV at the 2018 Auto Expo. The company also issued its official statement after news of Kia Seltos' fake booking came to light recently. In this segment, Kia Seltos will come with the first 1.4-L Turbo GDI engine. It will have IVT, 7DCT, 6AT, and 6-speed manual transmission. The Kia Seltos is powered by the ENGINE of the BS6 Viplato. Kia Seltos features three driving modes. These include Normal, Eco and Sports.
Kia Motor has not given any details about its Kia Seltos prices. However, the ex-showroom is expected to be priced between Rs 11 and Rs 15 lakh. Kia Seltos features VSM, ESC, TCS and Hill Start Assist Control for safety. In the Indian market, Kia Seltos will take on Jeep Compass, Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier and MG Hector. Kia has invested $2 billion in India, where the company has set up a large production plant at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh.
