The sub-4 meter SUV will get LED headlamps with LED DRLs and signature tire-nose grille, which is seen in other models of Kia. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity has been provided in Sonet with a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Seltos. The Kia can offer three gearboxes - 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT (clutch pedal-less manual) and 7-speed DCT with the turbo-petrol engine. In the diesel engine, the company will offer 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission which is offered in Seltos.
