The movie theatres have been closed for more than 6 months across the country. Meanwhile, films were released on OTT but Bollywood lovers are waiting for the opening of theatres. Now, the government has allowed to open theatres on 15th October with only 50% occupancy.

Now, the question is, which film is going to be released first after the theatres open.  According to media reports, Kiara Advani's forthcoming film 'Indu Ki Jawani' will be the first Bollywood film to be released after the theatres open. The report says that Christopher Nolan's 'Tenet' will be released after the theatres open. The Tamil superstar Vijay's movie 'Master' will also be released. According to the report, Tenet and Master are ready for release. He has said that Nikhil Advani has not yet sold his film 'Indu ki Jawani' to any online platform. Nikhil is not bound by any kind of contract.

After the theatres open in unlock 5, it can certainly be assumed that 'Indu Ki Jawani' will be the first Bollywood film to be released. The makers have also said that the performance of 'Indu Ki Jawani' will also give an opportunity to other producers to see what the audience's response is after the re-opening of the theatres. 'Indu Ki Jawani' is a small-budget movie that has already withdrawn its cost, so the capacity of 50 percent of viewers will not make much difference to the performance of the film. It was first to be released on 5th June 2020 but it could not be released due to the pandemic.
