KIA is planning to bring its first electric car in the Indian market. The KIA EV6 electric crossover is likely to hit the Indian market by June 2022. This claim has also been made in a report. The KIA EV6 is a medium-sized compact SUV, which is based on a fully electric platform and is highly capable of the form of a specialized EV powertrain. It has received a good response among customers abroad. The KIA EV6 is also superior to safety standards and is set to be the brand's first zero emission vehicle based on the E-GMP skateboard architecture.
 
The eco-friendly vehicle has a stylish front bosting, it also has slick headlamps with integrated LED day-time running lights. It has a sporty front bumper. The side profile looks spectacular along with the sloping roofline and muscular rear hunch. The interior of the KIA EV6 comes with low physical buttons, which makes it look premium. It has already been predicted to be strong in terms of design, features or electric powertrains.

It is based on the E-GMP platform. Talking about the design and style, the Kia EV6 also features signature Tiger Nose Grille, Slick DRL, headlamps with sequential dynamic light pattern. On the back, the electric crossover is going to get a sloping rear C-pillar with an integrated black glossy insert. The side profile looks fantastic with sharp lines, svept-back windshield and a character line.

The KIA EV6 can come with two battery pack variants, which will be 58kWh and  77.4kWh battery packs. These will have an RWD layout with a 170bhp single motor and an AWD layout with a 235bhp, dual-motor setup. The RWD variant is going to have a driving range of 510km. At the same time, the more powerful AWD variant can have the ability to achieve speeds of 0-100kph in 5.2 seconds.
