The talented Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth World No: 5 entered the Quarter-finals on Thursday when exposed his skills in a commanding performance against Canada's Jason Anthony Ho-Shue. In a time span of 33 minutes, Srikanth, seeded fifth, defeated Ho-Shue 21-15, 21-14 to enter to the last eight of the Super 750 tournament.

The other contestants Shubhankar Dey and Ajay Jayaram have already exited the tournament after losing their respective first round matches on Wednesday Shubhankar had suffered a 13-21, 8-21 defeated at the hands of Ho-Shue, Jayaram was beaten 12-21, 14-21 by Danish third seed Anders Antonsen. Saina Nehwal, PV Sindhu and Parupalli Kashyap has already withdrawn from the Denmark Open due to its cancellation of three tournaments.
