Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth has said that his aim is to win a gold medal again in this year's Commonwealth Games. He was disappointed due to being knocked out of the India Open due to Corona. His uttering is that he is lucky to have recovered quickly from the infection and started training. Srikanth is scheduled to start his playing season with the German Open Super, held between March 8-13.
According to reports, former world number one and Olympian Kidambi Srikanth has come to be called one of India's best badminton players. With his rise to the No. 1 spot in the world rankings, he became the first Indian man to win a silver medal at the World Championships.
Kidambi is also the only Indian player to reach the final of the men's singles at the 2021 Badminton World Championships and win the men's title at the Super Series Premier event at the BWF Tour.
