The biggest tournament of cricket 2019 World Cup is around the corner. West Indies are going to be one of the teams to watch out for at the tournament. Ahead of the start of the World Cup, Windies have announced a 10-man reserve squad list with the likes of Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo and Sunil Ambris featuring in it.

While Bravo and Pollard are two of the most experienced players in the reserve squad and will be helping their teammates prepare for the showpiece event . The reserve squad also has some big names featuring in it which provide Windies with a stellar pool of players to pick from in case of injuries. However, Sunil Narine has yet failed to make the cut and has not been named in the reserve squad.

There were news that Pollard is likely to be included in the final 15-man squad to replace a player who got injured. However, there is no official confirmation yet and the experienced all-rounder has been named in the reserve squad. Windies have been touted by several experts and former cricketers to put on a show at the World Cup with a host of superstars in their ranks.

Windies will open their World Cup campaign against Pakistan on May 31.
