US President Donald Trump has said that in his unprecedented summit with Kim Jong, he had averted the possibility of a nuclear disaster. He has also expressed gratitude towards the North Korean leader Kim for taking bold steps to negotiate. Trump has named his Singapore tour as a big surprise.   

In a summit on Tuesday in Singapore, Kim promised to make the Korean Peninsula completely free from nuclear proliferation when he got a guarantee of safety from the US President. Trump tweeted while returning from Washington DC to Air Force One aircraft, "I want to thank Kim for taking the bold steps for the sake of his people's bright future. Our unexpected meeting proves that real change is possible." 

In another tweet, he said, "Rocket launch, nuclear testing or research, The history of our people working together was historical. Thanks, Kim."  After the Trump-Kim summit was concluded, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo left for South Korea from where he would go to China. Popeo will give information about the summit soon. 

A day after the summit, Trump told that North Korea has agreed to destroy a missile test site. He said that North Korea's leader Kim will announce to demolish other missile sites in the next few days. North Korea had demolished its own nuclear test site in the presence of foreign media last month.
