Noted dancer Michael Jackson was born on August 29, 1958, at the home of Catherine and Joseph, who lived in Gray, a suburban industrial area of Chicago, no one had imagined that one day this child would become a King of music and dance. The music ran in the Rags family of Jackson, Michael's father Joseph was a crane operator by profession, but played guitar in a local band 'Falcon'. Michael's mother Catherine loved country music, and taught her children to sing.

By the time he was five years old, Michael began to show his singing talent on stage. He made his debut in the world of music by presenting number one by one with his four elder brothers under the direction of father. Also, Motown Records signed Michael at just five years old, which led to the Jackson family building their new home in the city of Los Angeles, California.

Thanks to his excellent dance, singing and different style, Michael made instant success. His first single 'I Want You Back' was released in November 1969, and achieved tremendous success. Michael never looked back, and in 1970, ABC, 'The Love You Save' and 'It Will Be There' numbers created new dimensions of success. Only 11-year-old Michael had become the lead singer, and glimpses of future superstars started appearing in him.
