Bollywood actress Kirti Kulhari surprised everyone with her decision last April. She had decided to separate from her husband Sahil Sehgal last April. She announced this seperation on social media. The two had decided to part ways by mutual consent after five years of marriage. Kirti Kulhari has now said that it was not an easy decision to get out of her marriage, something she just had to do. "It was a decision that was more difficult than the decision to live with someone," she told a website. 'Everyone joins together, family and their happiness, idea of love is celebrated. On the other hand, you are breaking something that you have created together. Families break down. It is a very difficult decision, but I thought that if it was my choice to come together, I would have to decide not to stay together. All this takes time and some things need to let you go of your life,' she added.

At the same time, she said, "I was ready for the outcome of this decision. Decisions that affect you, and break you at different times, but at the end of the day you have to remind yourself that you did the right thing and you did what you had to do." Actress Kirti shared a post on her Instagram account on April 1, 2021. In her post, Kirti Kulhari wrote, 'These simple notes are meant to inform everyone that my husband Sahil and I have decided to part ways. Not on paper, but in life. A decision that is more difficult than the decision to live with someone. This is because when you decide to come together, everyone who loves you and worries about you.'

Kirti Kulhari also wrote, 'The decision not to be with anyone hurts and hurts all of them. It is not easy. It's not really easy, but that's what it is. It's for all those who really care about us. I am fine and I hope that everyone in life who matters to me is also fine. She will not talk about it any further and would not like to do so. They will always move forward.'
