New Delhi: Delhi Police has received a major setback from the Arvind Kejriwal government. The Delhi government has refused the police's demand to make 9 stadium a temporary jail. The Delhi Police had sought temporary jail because of the farmers' protests. It has been said on behalf of the Delhi government that the demand of the farmers is justified, so it is not appropriate to put them in jail. The security force used water cannon and tear gas on the Shambhu border to isolate the farmers who are marching towards Delhi to protest against the agricultural laws.

Punjab CM Capt Amarinder Singh has urged the Central government to immediately talk to the farmers and stop the protest. Amarinder said that the voice of farmers cannot be suppressed, why is the government waiting till December 3. The police arrested some peasants protesters protesting against the new agrarian laws for blocking the road.

Farmers have gathered on their tractor-trolleys with rations and other essentials for the same 'Delhi Chalo' March. The Haryana government has also implemented section 144 of the CrPC in many areas to prevent farmers from gathering for demonstrations. Farmers are demanding the withdrawal of new agricultural laws. He says that the new law will end the minimum support price (MSP) arrangements.
