Noted entertainment superstar Kishore Kumar is a name whose definition has no end. Nevertheless, in limited terms, he was an actor, singer, director, producer, music director and, above all, a wonderful person. Kishore gave the film industry the best songs that people still have in their hearts. Kishore Kumar made many stars superstars with his voice.

It is unfortunate that today is Ashok's birthday and also the death anniversary of his brother Kishore Kumar. He died on October 13, 1987. Kishore Kumar is still one of the top singers in the industry even when he has never undergone any training in singing. In an interview, Kishore's elder brother Ashok Kumar said that as a child, the teenager's voice was like a torn bamboo, but once his foot was cut off from a vegetable cutter. The doctors treated the finger but the teenager did not suffer. He used to shout loudly for days because of the pain. Because of this incident, he was so pleased that his voice changed. This new voice of the teenager was the result of that accident.

The same teenager gave his voice for more than 600 Hindi films in his film career. In addition, he also enthralled the audience with his ravishing voice in Bengali, Marathi, Assamese, Gujarati, Kannada, Bhojpuri and Oriya films. Kishore Kumar lent his voice to many actors but on some occasions Mohammad Rafi sang songs for him. Interestingly, Mohammad Rafi used to charge only one rupee in lieu of songs sung for Kishore Kumar.
