New Delhi: Fans, as well as Teams, are also eagerly waiting for the mega auction of the Indian Premier League 2022. Two new teams Ahmedabad and Lucknow franchises have to hand over their list of three players each before the mega auction. According to the report, the Lucknow franchise has decided to sign KL Rahul, Marcus Stoinis and Ravi Bishnoi.

The mega auction is scheduled to be held in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13. According to the report, KL Rahul has been selected as the No.1 player by the franchise, so he will be paid Rs 15 crore as per the prescribed fee slab. Australian all-rounder Stoinis has been selected as Player 2 and will be given Rs 11 crore. On the other hand, uncapped Ravi Bishnoi will get Rs 4 crore, which will lead to the franchise entering the mega auction with an outstanding purse of Rs 60 crore.

Lucknow is participating in the Indian Premier League for the first time. It is the most expensive team in IPL history, bought by RPSG Group for Rs 7,090 crores. Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir is associated with Lucknow as a mentor and former Zimbabwe player Andy Flower as a coach.
