If you are bag lover, but wary of using your best ones during the monsoon season, try using plastic and acrylic bags in gloss finish and avoid the cloth variety, says an expert.

Co-founder of a contemporary accessory label ‘The Bag Tales’ Shrila Jhaveri said, "It is very important to select a bag which not only carries all your essentials, but also complements your body style and attitude.

” Jhaveri shared some tips that one should keep in mind while selecting bags in monsoon.

* With the monsoon season going on, it is advisable to use bags made of water resistant materials which can be cleaned easily and do not require much care. Plastic and acrylic bags in glossy finish are the best bet

.Avoid using bags made of cloth or leather as they tend to smell after getting in contact with rains. Bright colours like orange, sunshine yellow and fuchsia pink should be used and dull colours like grey, mustard and brown should be avoided.

* One must also keep in mind that that everybody style demands a specific pattern of bag. For individuals who are tall and slim, totes, wristlets and sling bags are suggested; while individuals who are bulky and short, should use handbags and hobo bags.

* Club your bags with a trendy umbrella and vibrant footwear and you are all set to enjoy the rains without worry.
